You claim land, build a base, gear up, and fight other factions for control of the map. Every death locks you out of the server for a while, and the whole world gets wiped when the season ends. Those two rules are the deathban and the timed map, and everything else follows from them.

The event that decides the map. It is a fortified KOTH with pearling turned off inside. Four run per map, one a week, and whoever takes the most is treated as having won the season.

Where the format came from around 2012, the golden era of 2013 to 2018, why the community refused the 1.9 combat update, and what happened after that.

Classes

Your armour set decides what you can do in a fight.

  • Diamond, the frontline. Best armour, no abilities.
  • Bard, buffs your team and debuffs theirs using energy.
  • Archer, tags people at range.
  • Rogue, speed and burst damage.
  • Miner, night vision and haste underground.
Events

Scheduled fights are what keep a map busy between raids.
