Theo is the administrator of the HCF Wiki. He founded the project and manages its editorial policy, including who is permitted to edit.
Background
Theo played Hardcore Factions during the format's active years, and started the wiki to record a history that exists mostly in players' memories and in old VODs rather than anywhere durable.
Needs: which networks and factions he played on, and when.
Editing policy
The wiki runs on a whitelist. Only approved accounts can edit; anonymous and unapproved editing is disabled.
The reasoning is that HCF's community has a long-standing reputation for hostility, and an open wiki documenting named players, faction rivalries and ban histories is an obvious target for vandalism, score-settling and edit wars. Restricting editing keeps the record stable and keeps pages about real people from becoming a place to attack them.
The trade-off is fewer contributors. To offset that, anyone can submit information without an account: rosters, map results, dates, screenshots and VODs are all welcome, and get added by whitelisted editors with credit.
Requesting access
Needs: how to apply for the whitelist, and what the criteria are.
Contact
Needs: Discord or another contact route for corrections and submissions.
