Fruit was an Australian and Asian Hardcore Factions faction, founded by Crating on 24 October 2020 and disbanded on 1 August 2024. It played both Teams and Squads across thirteen networks and was among the dominant AU/AS factions of its period, particularly in boxfights.
Details on this page come from a submission by a member of the faction. Further POVs and screenshots are held privately and can be added on request.
Not to be confused with
Fruit is sometimes conflated with BlitzCity and Nift, because Crating led those factions as well. They were separate factions with different rosters, and are not alternate names for Fruit.
History
Fruit was created on 24 October 2020 by Crating and ran for close to four years, ending on 1 August 2024. Its roster turned over heavily across that time, with hundreds of players passing through at different points.
The faction played across a wide spread of networks rather than settling on one:
Lunar · Velt Legions · Heartless (Teams and Squads) · Elevate Clans · Syuu HCF · Cobalt · Shmoke · Viper Community Realm · CavePvP · Koru · SagePvP · PotPvP · Dien
Rivalry with Turbine
Fruit's defining rivalry was with Turbine, running from the faction's earliest days through to Heartless Map 5. The two were among the major AU factions of the period and fought extensively in both boxfights and HCF.
It ended unusually. Rather than one side beating the other, Fruit and Turbine effectively joined forces for Heartless Map 5 against Aurora, and the combined group made Aurora raidable.
Boxfights
Fruit was dominant in AU/AS boxfights for an extended period, holding long winstreaks against established factions in the region. Recorded opponents include Requiem, RapidRaidz, Turbine, Unchain, Sakura, Pakistan, Indog, Rent and Pingu.
Needs: winstreak figures and dated results. POVs for many of these fights are held privately by the submitter.
