Congo was a French Hardcore Factions faction active from 2014 to 2016, led by xThazie. It took its name from the country, following the naming convention common among French rosters of the period.
Congo was one of the earliest French power factions, and the faction Ghana set itself up against when Larkyo founded it on HCTeams Map 8. The pairing became one of the defining matchups of the early French scene.
This article is a stub. Networks, maps, results and the course of the Ghana rivalry still need adding.
History
Needs: which networks and maps Congo played, when it formed and disbanded, and how it performed.
Rivalry with Ghana
Ghana was the first French faction to position itself explicitly as a rival to Congo. Both used African country names, and the two are recorded on the francophone side of the wiki as the matchup that shaped the scene's early years.
Needs: which maps the two met on, and how the rivalry played out. Congo's 2014–2016 span and Ghana's start on HCTeams Map 8 overlap, so HCTeams is the likely ground.
