| At the EOTW of HCTeams Map 6, itsjhalt issued a wave of blacklists that removed a large number of Amerinide players from the network at once.
| |
| | |
| The effect lasted years. Several did not return until Map X, and some played the intervening maps on alt accounts: Alexlm played Map 8 as Squirrel while blacklisted. Others sat the period out entirely.
| |
| | |
| With much of the roster unable to play, the remaining members spent Maps 7 and 8 in Sweatfest, where they formed the core that would later run NoLimit.

| Amerinide was rebuilt mid-map during Kohi Map 23. Spyno, Alexlm and others had started the map in Venezuela, then left after the first week to reform Amerinide from scratch, with no base and no head start.
| |
| | |
| They won the map regardless. Recorded results from that season include making Aloha, DawnLite and Autobots raidable, and a fight in which 29 Amerinide players beat a combined 50 from Nightmare and Venezuela.

The two sides spent that map fighting each other, with every Citadel contested and invisibility potions enabled, and the split hardened into a rivalry that outlasted the map.

| Map X is the faction's defining result and the one most often cited when it is called the best faction in HCF.
| |
| | |
| The map itself was the most heavily attended in the network's history. itsjhalt promoted it with a trailer campaign that saturated YouTube subscription feeds, and priority queue access was granted to power factions rather than sold, so attendance did not depend on buying a rank. The blacklists from Map 6 had also expired, putting the full roster back together for the first time in over a year.

| Amerinide took all four Citadels and lost, by its members' own account, a single fight all map — an opening fight against Nightmare in the nether. It was the last map the full roster played together.

| The faction did not last long after Map X. Spyno was removed from the roster during Kohi Map 24 after members objected to his presence, and played the rest of that map against his former faction.
| |
| | |
| Map 25 was Amerinide's last. It ended with the roster splitting over whether Spyno could rejoin: he was reinvited, Colonel and AnEpicFlyingRock objected, and the dispute ended with Colonel killed inside the faction's own base by a member who left the faction specifically to do it. The remaining players chose sides, and Amerinide never ran again.

Amerinide was a Hardcore Factions faction that competed on Kohi and HCTeams during the format's golden era. It is widely regarded within the community as one of the strongest factions in the history of the format.
The claims on this page about Amerinide's standing and its rivalry with Nightmare are recorded from community consensus and are not yet sourced. Map results, Citadel counts and VODs should be added. Rivalry accounts in particular tend to differ depending on which side is telling them.
Reputation
Amerinide is commonly named among the best factions HCF produced. The reasons usually given are that it competed at the top on both major networks rather than one, that it fielded a deep roster with ten captains under a single leader, and that it consistently contested the events that decide maps.
Reputation claims of this kind are community consensus rather than measured fact, and the wiki records the claim as a claim. What would substantiate it is a Citadel record, map placements and results against the other top factions of the period.
Needs: Citadel and Palace counts per map, map wins, and results head to head with the factions it is compared against.
Rivalry with Nightmare
Amerinide's rivalry with Nightmare is the one most often cited when the faction is discussed, and it came to a head on Map X.
The two were built differently. Nightmare ran a stable core across maps under Losty0 and AutismPanda, with roughly a dozen players appearing on consecutive rosters. Amerinide ran wider, with ten captains and a larger roster on its recorded map. Those are two different answers to the same problem of holding a map, which is part of why the matchup drew attention.
The rosters also overlap. AutismPanda, Nightmare's founder, appears on Amerinide's Kohi Map 23 roster, as do Muskett, Gordan, Spyno and Substain, all of whom appear on Nightmare rosters. Players moving between rival factions across maps was normal, but it complicates any account of the rivalry as two fixed sides.
Needs: what actually happened on Map X. Citadel results, raids in either direction, EOTW outcome, and a VOD or recap thread. Both factions' accounts should be represented where they differ.
History
Needs: when Amerinide formed and disbanded, which maps it played on each network, and how it performed.

Achievements
Needs: Citadel, Palace, KOTH and Conquest results, and any map wins.
